Recorded Accompaniments

Recorded piano hymn accompaniments are complete with introduction and tasteful variations for each verse. These are not meant to be piano solos, but rather accompaniments to support families or small groups in their singing. We have endeavored to make these rich with content so as to enhance your singing, while at the same time avoiding elements that might be distracting.

To make the accompaniments easy to manage and user-friendly, we suggest they be downloaded to an MP3 player. MP3 players are not only able to store large amounts of data, providing you with a central location for all your downloads, but are also equipped with screens allowing you to quickly navigate to and select the accompaniment of your choice.

Four-part Training Tools

To aid families in singing four-part harmony, we have provided tools to facilitate the learning of each vocal part (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass). See the exhibit below to understand the position of each part.

Listed below are the tools we offer as well as the progression we would recommend when learning parts.

Printed Accompaniments

Piano accompaniments are available in print for those who desire to play them, either for their own edification or for the family and/or a group. The “Advanced” editions are the piano scores of what is heard on the “Recorded Accompaniments” (there are a few exceptions). The “Moderate” editions sound much the same as the “Advanced” but with fewer notes, making it less demanding.
